That was the whole point of going independent. You left a commission split so the relationship would belong to you instead of to somebody else's business.
Then you signed up for booking software, and handed it over anyway.
Nobody warns you about the second bill. Booth rent you budgeted for. Then:
Take fifteen new clients a month at $75 and a 20% new-client fee is $225 a month. At 30% it is $337. That is on top of the subscription, and it grows exactly as fast as you do.
You did not leave a commission split to sign up for another one.
$24.99 a month. Unlimited clients. That is the entire bill.
No commission on anything. Not new clients, not returning clients. We never see that a booking happened, so there is no mechanism to charge you for it.
No directory. Your client never sees another chair, another suite or another studio anywhere in the process.
Your clients live in your phone. In your Apple Contacts, in the My Clients group. If you stopped paying us tomorrow, they would still be there. Nothing to export, nobody to email, no notice period.
Free until you have more than ten active clients, with every feature. If you are just starting in your suite, that is the whole app for nothing.
Everything on your phone, between clients. Book, take a note, snap a before and after, send a reminder, in the fifteen minutes you have.
Your own private notes on every client. Who tips, who reschedules three times, who you would rather not book again. A Do Not Book flag that follows them everywhere their name appears, and a private rating emoji only you can see.
Charge different clients differently. Raise the rate for one who is hard work, give a loyalty discount to one who has been with you for years, or do both at once. Your prices, per client, without maintaining two menus.
Know what you actually make. Enter what a service costs you and the reports tell you what you kept, by service, by month. Which clients are worth the chair time, and who has not been in for ninety days.
Text reminders that go out as you. From your number, from Messages, after you have read them. No third party in the conversation.
No online booking. You take appointments by phone, text or email, after speaking to someone. For a lot of booth renters that is a relief rather than a limitation; you already know which clients you want and when you want them. If online-booking is essential to you, we are the wrong app.
No card payments or deposits. We do not process payments, so no card on file and no automatic no-show fee. Most booth renters already have a card reader they like; keep it.
Apple only. One login.
Ten active clients, every feature, no time limit and no card. If your book grows past ten it is $24.99 a month for unlimited, and nothing else ever gets added to the bill.
