Boulevard combines appointment scheduling, online booking, payments, and client management for salons, spas, and other service businesses. Its front-desk and team-management tools can be useful when several people coordinate appointments and customer visits.
If you manage your own appointments and already have a client base, you may not need all of those services. Book Visit Now offers a different approach: manage appointments and client records on your Apple devices while choosing your own payment and customer-acquisition services.
Boulevard offers subscription plans priced per location, with different features and limits on bookable calendars. Optional services may add to the monthly cost. Check the current plan details, any implementation charges, payment-processing terms, and your agreement's cancellation provisions before subscribing.
For current prices and included features, see Boulevard's official pricing page.
Paying for a larger platform. Boulevard combines scheduling with front-desk workflows, online booking, payments, and other business tools. If you do not need all of those capabilities, compare the full subscription cost with the services you actually use.
Understanding the total commitment. Ask Boulevard to confirm any onboarding charges, minimum term, renewal provisions, and cancellation requirements in writing. Terms may vary by agreement; do not assume that a reviewer's contract applies to yours.
Keeping control of business records. Before switching systems, confirm how to export your client list, appointment history, treatment records, and financial reports, and which information can be imported into your next app.
One price for the included features. Book Visit Now is free for up to ten active clients, with every feature included and no time limit. Pro removes the active-client limit for $24.99 a month. There are no separate Book Visit Now feature subscriptions or per-provider and per-location subscription fees.
Multiple providers and locations. Book Visit Now supports scheduling for multiple providers and service locations. You can manage their appointments without purchasing another bookable-calendar license from Book Visit Now. It does not, however, provide separate staff logins or Boulevard's dedicated front-desk workflows.
Appointment notifications through Messages and email. The Book Visit Now Appointment Notification Center lets you review upcoming appointments and manually contact clients using Apple Messages or email. There are no additional Book Visit Now message-credit packages or reminder subscriptions. Notifications are not sent automatically; your carrier's usual messaging charges may apply.
Treatment records and scanned intake forms. Keep client notes, treatment history, and before-and-after photos with the client's profile. You can scan a completed paper intake form directly into that profile using your Apple device. Book Visit Now does not provide an online intake form builder or electronic form submission by clients.
A dedicated app for Apple devices. Book Visit Now runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with iCloud synchronization across your devices. Your records remain accessible in the free plan if you stop paying for Pro. Because synchronization and some device features depend on Apple services, do not assume every function is available without an internet connection.
Independent payment processing. Book Visit Now does not process payments or hold customer funds. You can choose a separate payment provider without linking your appointment-management subscription to a merchant account.
No online self-booking. Clients cannot book themselves through a Book Visit Now website or consumer app. You create and manage appointments yourself.
No integrated payments or deposits. Book Visit Now does not accept card payments, store cards on file, collect online deposits, or automatically charge no-show fees. You will need a separate payment service for those tasks.
No automated reminders or online forms. The Appointment Notification Center supports manual Messages and email notifications, and you can scan completed paper forms into client profiles. It does not automatically send scheduled reminders or let clients complete and submit intake forms online.
No dedicated memberships, packages, or retail point of sale. Boulevard offers broader tools for businesses that sell memberships or packages and manage retail transactions. Book Visit Now records services, products, and client purchases but does not replace a dedicated retail checkout or membership-billing system.
No separate staff accounts or Android/web access. Book Visit Now supports multiple providers and locations, but it does not provide individual staff logins or an Android or browser-based app.
Book Visit Now supports multiple providers and locations, so the number of staff or locations alone does not determine whether you should switch. The deciding factors are the workflows and services your business needs. Book Visit Now does not support multiple user logins. All devices must be using the same iCloud account.
Review your Boulevard agreement before choosing a cancellation date. Confirm any notice period, remaining payment obligations, and the process for obtaining your records.
Export and retain your client list, appointment history, treatment documentation, and financial records while your account is active. If your clients are already in Apple Contacts, you can use those contacts when setting up Book Visit Now; otherwise, import the relevant contact details into Apple Contacts.
Importing contacts does not automatically transfer Boulevard appointments, treatment notes, forms, or financial history into Book Visit Now. Keep your exported records for reference and plan how to enter future appointments. Tell regular clients how to book with you directly, since Book Visit Now does not provide online self-booking.
